Limited Family Law Services
What family law services does Bluebird Law provide?
Bluebird Law provides two kinds of family law services for a limited number of cases: (1) unbundled advice & guidance and (2) pre-decree divorce and child custody mediation.
Unbundled – sometimes called limited scope – representation means that Bluebird Law provides advice and guidance, case reviews, and case coaching for a limited number of clients with divorce, custody, and protection order cases.
Divorce and child custody mediation means that Bluebird Law helps married couples and co-parents who want to settle out of court as a neutral third party complete the financial disclosures and agreements necessary to settle their cases out of court.
Is unbundled advice & guidance right for me?
If you plan to represent yourself or if you would like an attorney to review an agreement that you have made before signing it, then unbundled legal services might be right for you. If your case is high conflict, you need someone to represent you in court, or you want an attorney to manage filings and court-facing process for you, then unbundled services are not right for you.
Is pre-decree mediation right for me?
If you are going through the divorce or custody process for the first time (“pre-decree”) and you and your partner or coparent want to settle everything amicably outside of court before you file the paperwork, pre-decree mediation might be right for you. Keep in mind that Bluebird Law would be providing neutral mediation services and would not be giving advice to either party individually.
